Tokopedia wanted to advertise across all in-app media channels and online display ad platforms with interactive ad formats that leads to the goal of driving sales.

SEA being one of the top performing geos for us, Tokopedia acted as a boon for us in terms of delivering the best. Our strategy for them was to increase new user acquisition with the help of data that was collected through our DMP over a span of years. We applied user-level targeting based on machine-learning algorithms, real-time data, and aggregated data from our DMP to run an effective UA campaign. This approach allowed us to acquire significantly higher LTV users. Our initial approach was intent- based targeting — targeting users that showed direct interest in the multiple relevant apps . Then, our machine learning models gradually learned the patterns of the users that were most engaged from the day of their installation, which allowed us to target similar users and eventually resulted in beating the defined ROAS KPIs. Over a period of a month, we succeeded in increasing their new acquisition volume up to 28%, fulfilling the deep funnel KPI's as well.
RESULT
Tokopedia's multi-channel ad campaign drove 800K+ installs and 224K+ purchase events with a 28% conversion rate, meeting objectives to enhance sales through interactive ad formats.
